INJAWARA Final Meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus
CARDET hosted the Final Meeting of the INJAWARA project in Nicosia on the 18th and 19th of December.
On the first day of the meeting the partners presented the implementations and outcomes of the last year of activities. Through the INJAWARA Cooperative board game, Learning Services, the National Festivals and twinnings we feel that we have successfully raised awareness and increased engagement of youngsters on Development issues and development cooperation; we have brought together a multitude of narratives and perspectives and have shown a Europe without borders and furthered our understandings of the challenges faced by Developing Countries.
We hope this will translate into greater civil action and inspiring initiatives in the immediate future. The partners exchanged experiences on how the actions through the projects brought greater civil engagement in youth for our respective countries and what possible room for development exists for even better results.
On the second day, partners managed administrative and evaluating issues, participated in a learning service performed by CARDET and the youth in Cyprus and said a final goodbye as partners through the framework of the project.
